General Questions
Where is Rishabh Furniture located?
Our workshop and showroom are at Selaur Guthani, Guthani, Siwan, Bihar – 841435, India. Call +91 82288 40024 before visiting so we can keep the pieces you want to see ready.
Do you make furniture yourself or only sell it?
We make it. Cutting, joinery, sanding and polishing all happen at our own workshop in Guthani, which is why we can build to your exact size and repair or re-polish the piece years later.
Which wood do you use?
Mainly seasoned sheesham (Indian rosewood) and mango wood, with teak and commercial ply options depending on your budget. The wood is seasoned before use so the furniture doesn't crack or bend after delivery.
Is your furniture treated against termites?
Yes. Frames and backs are treated before polishing. In Bihar's humid climate we also advise keeping furniture a little away from damp walls — we explain the care at the time of delivery.
Can I get furniture made to a custom size?
Yes, and it is normal for us. Beds, wardrobes, dining tables, sofas and TV units are all built to your room or mattress measurement. Share the size on WhatsApp at +91 82288 40024 for a quote.
Do you provide a GST invoice?
Yes. Every order is billed with a GST-compliant invoice under GSTIN 10BECPV5160B1Z1 — for households, offices and institutional buyers alike.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver across Siwan district and greater Bihar. Delivery timelines and charges depend on the location and order size — call us for a confirmed quote for your address.
Do you repair or re-polish old furniture?
Yes. We tighten loose joints, replace broken drawers, re-polish old furniture to look new, and re-upholster sofas with fresh foam and fabric.
Can you copy a design from a photo?
Usually yes. Send the photo on WhatsApp with the size you need, and we will tell you what is possible within your budget and what would need to change.
Do you supply bulk orders to schools, hostels and offices?
Yes — beds, cupboards, tables, benches and office furniture in bulk, with GST invoicing and documentation for institutional purchases. Send the requirement through our bulk orders page.
Wooden Beds
Which wood do you use for double beds?
We work mainly in seasoned sheesham (Indian rosewood) and mango wood, and can also build in teak or commercial ply with a wood finish depending on your budget. Tell us your budget and we will recommend the right option.
Can I get a bed made for my exact mattress size?
Yes. Give us the mattress length and width (or the room measurement) and we build the frame to fit. Custom sizing is standard for us, not an extra service.
Do you make box-storage beds?
Yes, with a lift-up or hydraulic storage box. It is a popular choice for bedrooms where there is no separate store room.
Sofas & Sofa Sets
How much does a wooden sofa set cost?
It depends on the size of the set, the wood, the foam density and the fabric you choose. Tell us your room size and budget on WhatsApp (+91 82288 40024) and we will quote two or three options.
Can you re-upholster my old sofa?
Yes. If the frame is sound we can replace the foam and fabric and re-polish the wood, which usually costs far less than a new set.
How long does a made-to-order sofa set take?
A made-to-order set takes time for frame work, foam and stitching. We confirm a delivery date when the order is placed — call us for the current lead time.
Sofa & Center Tables
Can you match a centre table to my existing sofa set?
Yes. Send a photo of your sofa on WhatsApp along with the size you want, and we will match the wood tone and polish as closely as possible.
Do you make glass-top tables?
Yes — a solid wood frame with a toughened glass top, which is easier to clean and shows off the woodwork below.
Dining Tables & Sets
Do you make dining tables with a glass or covered top?
Yes. Toughened glass and covered tops are both available — they protect the wood from water rings and hot vessels and are easier to wipe down after meals.
Can I order a dining table without chairs?
Yes, the table and chairs can be ordered separately, and we can also make extra chairs to match a table you already own.
What size dining table fits a small room?
For tight dining spaces a 4-seater around 3×2.5 ft, or a round table, usually works best. Send us your room measurement and we will suggest a size that still leaves walking space.
Wardrobes & Almirahs
Can a wardrobe be made to fit my wall exactly?
Yes. Give us the wall width and ceiling height and we build the wardrobe to fit, which uses far more of the space than a ready-made piece.
Do wooden wardrobes come with a lock?
Yes — we fit a lockable drawer or locker section as standard, and can add locks on the main doors as well.
Dressing Tables & Drawers
Can the dressing table match my bed and wardrobe?
Yes — if you order together we use the same wood and polish across the bed, wardrobe and dressing unit so the bedroom looks like one set.
Is the mirror included in the price?
The mirror is quoted along with the unit. Tell us the size you want and whether you prefer a plain or bevelled mirror.
TV Units & Showcases
Can you build a TV unit to my wall size?
Yes. Share the wall width, the TV size and whether it will be wall-mounted or table-top, and we design the unit around it.
Do showcases come with lights?
Internal LED lighting can be fitted on request — tell us at the time of order so we plan the wiring channel.
Custom Woodwork

Do you repair and re-polish old furniture?
Yes. Repairs, joint tightening, drawer replacement, re-polishing and sofa re-upholstery are all done at our workshop.
